Lecture by Mark Thornton presented at the Ludwig von Mises Institute’s Fifteenth Anniversary Conference; “The Twentieth Century: An Austrian Critique”, held in Atlanta, Georgia, September 26-27 1997. mises.org Mark Thornton is an American economist of the Austrian School. Thornton has been described by the Advocates for Self-Government as “one of America’s experts on the economics of illegal drugs.” Thornton has written extensively on that topic, as well as on the economics of the American Civil War, economic bubbles, and public finance. Thornton received his BS from St. Bonaventure University (1982), and his Ph.D. from Auburn University (1989). Thornton taught economics at Auburn University for a number of years, additionally serving as founding faculty advisor for the Auburn University Libertarians. He also served on the faculty of Columbus State University, and is now a senior fellow and residentfaculty member at the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He is currently the Book Review Editor for the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics.     Faith has killed that…blind obedience to unqualified elected officials and unqualified appointed/hired officials in positions that control policy. NWO is the evil answer these dum dum masses are going to accept so they don’t lose their SUVs and unproductive jobs. We are the new Rome and Rome is burning whilst Nero(gov’t) is playing his fiddle(rhetorical speeches of change). The corrupt are fighting for the change because they will lose power.

  2. if nobody ever notices anything going on around them they should at least see that everthing is crashing in on it’s self
    consolidation is the word that best represents every aspect of our lives in this century
    entertainment, energy, food production, money management , shcools, and governments are all consolidating
    one world order for your future
    soon the Christian killing will begin as we consolidate religion
